The Austrian ‘UNSER LAGERHAUS’ fuel cards, aimed for quicker and easier fueling processes for customers and a comprehensive overview of transactions with administrative function.
With over 20 full-service fuel service stations in Carinthia and Tyrol “UNSER LAGERHAUS” is a reliable partner in energy matters for its customers.
“UNSER LAGERHAUS” once again opted for the expertise of Hectronic, to provide its customers real added value in the future and to meet the challenges in the market with a digital solution. The physical fuel card was decided to be digitized, equipped with the cash register system HecPos-T, in cooperation with the trustworthy partner Hectronic.
As a white-label solution for mobile payment, the HecFuel App was considered to be the
perfect option for the digitization of physical fuel cards. More than 80% of the “UNSER LAGERHAUS” fuel cards have been digitized so far and are now conveniently available as an app on the smartphone, and customers can complete the fueling process by cashless payment. The authorization and fueling process for the customer is accelerated by HecFuel. The user is automatically guided through the authorization process by the easy operation.
To use the app, the user selects the respective fuel service station from a list or, alternatively, by GPS function. PIN or finger print identifies the user and is authorized for the further steps. Optionally, the mileage can also be recorded with every fueling process. It is possible to resume the trip immediately, at unmanned fuel stations, upon refueling the vehicle, as the payment is conveniently made by app from the car. The customer can make the payment at the cash desk, in classic full service fuel stations, by means of a QR-Code displayed in the app. The app digitally archives the fuel receipts and can thus be seen at any time.
By the means of payment specified in the web-based software PayLine, the settlement is made. The tool helps the fuel service station operator to keep an eye on all transactions around the clock, as an interface for the user and rights administration. Functional scope of the web-based administration tool PayLine include overviews, evaluations and an archive of all transactions.
“UNSER LAGERHAUS” has made the option for the customized variant HecFuel Flex. The CI-specifications could be integrated into the design, as opposed to the starter version HecFuel Base, providing the new digital Lagerhaus Card with a high recognition value as an app variant. For 13 full service fuel stations with shop and 7 unmanned fuel stations, the new payment app has been used, since the beginning of 2019. By means of the app, the fueling process as well as the purchases in the shop can be made.
“I am very happy that we could convince the customer “UNSER LAGERHAUS” by our solutions. Currently, we are already discussing an extension of the functional scope of the app to realize further benefits for the end customer,” said Marc Griesshaber, Product Manager Payment Group Hectronic GmbH.
