
Ford integrates ExxonMobil’s Speedpass+™ app to make paying for fuel easy by using the in-vehicle touch screen or voice commands to authorize payment
Ford integrates ExxonMobil’s Speedpass+™ app to make paying for fuel rapid, easy and safe from inside the vehicle. The users can access the app via SYNC® 3 touch screen or by voice commands and carry out their payments. The plenti loyalty points will be automatically added at Exxon and Mobil stations. The vehicle recognizes the participating Exxon or Mobil stations via GPS thus making it convenient for the driver to enter the fuel service station and pay for the fuel. The drivers can also search for and navigate to around 9,400 participating Exxon and Mobil stations via app.
SYNC AppLink offers drivers with the ability to control well-suited smartphone apps using their voice or the in-vehicle touch screen. Developers can easily make their smartphone apps compatible with SYNC by downloading and integrating the AppLink software from the Ford Developer Program website.
