Istobal, a Spanish company specialized in the design, manufacturing and trading of carwash solutions has won the Danish tender of the fuel company OKQ8 for the supply of car wash equipment and Istobals chemicals. Istobal Denmark, the Danish subsidiary will be the sole supplier to one of the largest Nordic fuel companiesfrom 2017 to 2019 i.e., a three-year contract. The same contract was already awarded to the company three years ago. Istobal's machines and products will be relied on by OKQ8 once again for its facilities in Denmark.

The supply of rollovers and numerous accessories such as vacuum cleaners and mat cleaners is included in the tender. The Spanish company has become the sole supplier of chemicals for the next 3 years, since it has obtained Norway’s SWAN ecolabel esens chemicals by Istobal.

OKQ8 is one of the most principal fuel companies in Sweden and Denmark with their European network comprising 4,400 service stations under different brands: OKQ8, F24, Tango, and Q8.With sales in the country increasing by 50% in 2016 compared to the previous year, the contract with OKQ8 consolidates the presence of Istobal in Denmark, which is already the Group's third European export market. With the aim to enable full EMV chip card acceptance across its network, Divine’s, a Spokane-based provider of fuel and automotive services, has standardized its c-store and forecourt infrastructure with Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s Passport point-of-sale (POS) for indoor EMV transactions and the FlexPay IV CRIND for forecourt EMV transactions.

In order to draw more customers into the store, Divine’s is leveraging Applause TV at the dispenser, as part of its EMV upgrade. Increased store traffic and fraud mitigation have been cited as primary reasons for proceeding with the transition now.
